Innovative thinking in times of crisis: the mental health and well-being of entrepreneurs (EMWBIN)

The study aims to investigate the association between entrepreneurs’ mental health and well-being with innovative thinking in crises such as pandemics, economic situations, wars, and natural disasters. The researchers will use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the characteristics of the stress response, anxiety, and depressive symptoms on the development of innovative thinking of entrepreneurs in a crisis in Micro, Small, and Medium-sized businesses (MSMEs). Measuring entrepreneurs' stress, anxiety and depression could present the degree of innovation by MSMEs in different economic sectors in Cyprus.
