EUROPEAN PROGRAMS

 

Georgios Afxentiou Research Laboratory Ltd prepares applications, technical and feasibility studies, evaluates proposals and offers consulting to businesses for the following European funding programs:

A. The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST)

COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level. COST''s mission is to enable breakthrough scientific developments leading to new concepts and products and thereby contribute to strengthening Europe’s research and innovation capacities.

B. European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA)

 

The Agency is responsible for developing and implementing the European Innovation Council and manages other EU programmes in the fields of SME support, innovation ecosystems, single market, consumer policy and interregional innovation investments.

 

C. Eureka Eurostars

 

The Eurostars Program is managed by EUREKA. Eurostars is the largest international funding programme for SMEs wishing to collaborate on R&D projects that create innovative products, processes or services for commercialisation. The Eurostars mission is to support R&D performing entrepreneurs by funding their research activities, enabling them to compete internationally and become leaders in their sector. 

D. Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
 

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and develops the European dimension in sports.

E. De Minimis

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

The EBRD Small Business Support (SBS) program provides business advice to help small and medium-sized businesses grow, succeed, then grow again, becoming genuine catalysts for their local economies and region. A vibrant small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector is a vital ingredient for a healthy market economy. However, finance alone often cannot meet the challenges facing small and medium-sized businesses. They also need access to know-how to improve their performance and grow
